I really enjoyed reading the panelists bios! I've had the pleasure of meeting Josh and Lemark before, but I am looking forward to meeting everyone else. I am most looking forward to learning more about their individual stories and perspective on growing up deaf, their parents/teachers influence, and where they are today. I can't wait! :o)
I am very excited for this panel :) It is something different, but also very fun since we get to hear their stories and experiences! I love listening to the deaf's stories, they are always quite interesting!
I enjoyed reading these panelist's stories. I do have a few questions for each person. There is definitely a variety of parental influence along with individual hopes and disappointments concerning deafness. Each one to me sounds like many young folks and their destinies to adulthood and life in general. Parents most of the time play an important role in our pathway of choices.
I enjoyed the bios im jsut sad that i missed it tonight. If anyone would like to recap the night for me i would appreciate it. Zoei decided to cause some problems today so i could not stay for this class.
