This is a GREAT example of a student teaching other students what a teacher could not! Allowing students in the class to model actual learning experiences and activities for other students is often one of THE most effective "instructional methods" or strategies one can imploy in the classroom. As teachers we have to become facilitators of learning.
I will often defer to YOU as the students to help me understand how to most effectively communicate concepts.
This can happen in a 1st grade or college classroom as we empower students to take ownership and responsibility for their learning.
Ashley...if you're in need of posts you know it WILL :) But, I'm sure there are lots of great posts on here on which you are JUST DYING TO COMMENT! :) Not to mention all of the incredible ideas you just can't wait to share with us! It's more like you're having a hard time just containing yourself!! :-)
