Here's an example of a "multimedia presentation" of information or facts. It's well done with specific "concepts" highlighted. Obviously very well done! One additional component I am excited to see - that I know can be challenging - in your projects is how you will engage students within the class and allow your fellow classmates to interact or be involved in the presentation!
Although this was a good presentation, I think it could have been better. I zoned out because there wasn't anything to grab my attention. It could have been more creative. Maybe if they had key words that showed up periodically in cool fonts, it would have been more interesting. It would have helped me remember what they were telling me.
ReplyDeleteI think this is cool and different, but I don't see how you can involve other students into it. I do think that for the aspect of teaching the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and involving them it is very good though. However, I do agree with Kristen in that it doesn't hold your attention much.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the cleanness of the presentation - it allowed me to focus on what they were saying. Yet, I wish they would have utilized some other types of visuals to really engage the audience. I felt as if it was repetitive looking and therefore, I can see how people would lose their focus on it. Throughout my college experience, I really have learned the importance of engaging the "audience" (or the class) and it's amazing how just a simple interactive activity can make the biggest difference in people's attention and learning.

I agree with the others on this. I thought that this project was very cleanly done, but I was easily able to lose my focus on what was going on in the presentation. I felt nothing really draw me in and keep my attention on what was going on throughout it. I think something little like having slides of pictures of people on campus would have been able to really enhance this presentation.
